Biochemistry or also known as biological chemistry is the study of chemical processes in living organisms including living matter and living processes, and this is one of the most difficult courses under my bachelor's degree in biology. My degree is part of the pre-medical education track I am taking as part of the admission requirements for entering a medical school in the United States, and biochemistry is a major prerequisite in most medical schools in the U.S. It was during the second year of my bachelor's degree when we started with the researching and writing of biochemistry essays as part of our biochemistry coursework tasks.
Since I knew that biochemistry is a difficult subject, my friends and I helped with one another in the various stages of the processes for the researching and writing of our biochemistry coursework task. We helped one another in selecting effective topics, doing a thorough research process for the topics we selected, planning and outlining the structures of our essay documents, formatting the essay papers, and we shared tips, suggestions and feedback on the actual writing of our biochemistry essays.
An important guideline that we learned concerned the process of choosing effective essay topics. My friends and I had to make sure that the specific topics that we would choose for our essays on biochemistry would be unique and not similar to one another. We read materials on how to choose specific and interesting topics for biochemistry essays and we learned that the general subject area for the study of biochemistry would be a good source of topics for our essays.
We found the general subject area of biochemistry in the encyclopedias, textbooks and reference books in our university library. We learned that the subject of biochemistry is arranged according to several general categories that are subdivided into sub-categories, field and sub-field, and further broken down into specific topics, which became the basis for the specific topics of our own essays.
